shelf supports back to their initial

position.

4.3 Preheating

Preheat the empty appliance to burn off

the remaining grease.

1. Set the function and the maximum

temperature.

2. Let the appliance operate for 1 hour.

4. Let the appliance operate for 15

minutes.

Accessories can become hotter than

usual. The appliance can emit an odour

and smoke. This is normal. Make sure

that the airflow in the room is sufficient.

Let the oven cool down. Dampen a soft

cloth with warm water and a little mild

washing-up liquid and use this to clean

the oven cavity.

5.1 Oven functions

Oven function Application

Off position The appliance is off.

Light To activate the lamp without a cooking function.

Grill To grill flat food items in small quantities in the mid‐

dle of the shelf. To make toasts.

Grill + Turn‐

spit

To grill meat, including kebabs and smaller pieces of

meat.

Gas oven See the cooking tables.

Fan Cooking To bake and to dry food. You can use the fan in

combination with the gas oven burner.

5.2 Gas block warning indicator

This light comes on to indicate gas block

and a burner shutdown. To eliminate the

block, turn the knob for the oven

functions and the knob for the

temperature to the Off position "0", wait

for one minute and then repeat the

lighting operation.

5.3 Temperature indicator

The temperature indicator comes on

when the oven heats up. It goes off when

the oven is at its correct temperature. It

then cycles on and off to show that the

temperature adjusts.
