8.1 Oven functions
Symbol Oven function Application
Off position The appliance is off.
Oven Lamp To activate the lamp without a cooking function.
Circulated cooking To roast or roast and bake food with the same
cooking temperature on more than one shelf po‐
sition, without flavour transference.
Conventional Cook‐
ing
To bake and roast food on one shelf position.
Bottom heat To bake cakes with crispy bottom and to pre‐
serve food.
Defrost This function can be used for defrosting frozen
foods, such as vegetables and fruits. The de‐
frosting time depends on the amount and size of
the frozen food.
Grilling To grill flat food and to toast bread.
Light Cooking To bake in tins and dry on one shelf level at a
low temperature.
Turbo Grilling To roast larger meat joints or poultry with bones
on one shelf position. Also to make gratins and
to brown.
