wool or wax polishes should not be used.
Stainless steel (model EHGF93CX)
Simplywipewithasoftclothusingwarmwaterandamild
detergentandrinsewithcleanwater.Wherestainlesssteel
hasbecomeextremelydirtyordiscoloured,useastainless
steelcleaner–butbesuretofollowthebrushinglines.
DO NOTuse abrasive cleaners or harsh solvents.
Ceramic glass (model EHGC93CI)
Thespeciallytreatedglassintheproductismanufactured
usingthelatesttechnologytothehighestpossible
standardsforbothsafetyandreliability.However,itmustbe
rememberedthatasitisCERAMIC GLASS,itmaybreak.
Treatitaccordingly.Tocleantheceramicglasshobusea
softclothorspongewithdetergentandwarmwater.
Ifthesurfaceiscracked,switchofftheappliance
immediatelytoavoidthepossibilityofelectricshock.
If the hob is very soiled:
1. Removesoilageusingtherazorbladescraper.
2. Useahobcleanerproductaftertherehasbeen
sufficienttimeallowedforthehobtocool.Shakethe
bottleandapplyasmallquantityofcleanerdirectlyonto
thehob.Rubcleanusingadampclothorpapertowels.
3. Useadampclothtoremoveallremainingtracesofthe
cleaner,whichcouldotherwiseburnonwhenthehobis
nextused.Wipethehobdry.
Use the scraper supplied to remove spillages
immediately, while the hob is still hot! Especially sugar
and foods with a high sugar content (eg. jam), melted
plastics and foil, all of which can damage the hob if left.
Razor blade scraper
Usethescrapertoremovespillagesfromtheceramichob.

How to use the razor blade scraper:
1. Pullbacktheprotectivecoveruntilthebladeisvisible.
2. Makesurethattherazorbladeiscleanandnotworn.
Thereisarisk,otherwise,thatitmightdamagethehob.
Newrazorbladescanbeboughtfrompharmacies.
3.Anglescraperatapprox.45°andscrapeawaythe
spillage.Therazorbladecanbepresseddownhard
ontothehobwithoutcausinganydamage.
4. Carefullycleanthebladebywipingitwithapapertowel.
5. Whenyouhavefinished,presstheprotectivecover
forwardsasfarasitwillgo.Keepthescraperoutofthe
reachofchildren.
Changing the razor blade:
1. Openthescraperbycompletelyunscrewingthescrew
andthenplacethenewrazorbladeatthefrontedge.
2. Putthescrapertogetheragainandscrewthescrew
backintoplace.
3. Presstheprotectivecoverforwardsasfarasitwillgoto
covertherazorblade.
THE RAZOR BLADE SCRAPER SHOULD BE KEPT
WELL OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Use the
razor blade scraper carefully, as the razor blade is
extremely sharp.
Trivets and burners
Thesecanallbeliftedoffandremovedforseparate
cleaning.
NOTE! When retting the burners, ensure that they are
correctly seated.
Ensureburnersarethoroughlydriedaftercleaningor
spillage.Whencleaningtheburners,ensurethatallthe
flameportsarefreeofanyblockage.Ifnecessary,usea
toothpickorbrushtoclearports.Theoutersurfaceofthe
burnercapshaveapolishedfinishandextracareneedsto
betakentoavoidscratchingthissurfaceduringcleaning.In
instancesofheavysoiling,itmaybenecessarytoapplya
non-abrasivecleaningcompoundandrubwithaclothuntil
thesoilingisremovedandthenfinishwithasoft,drycloth.
NOTE! DO NOT place trivets or burners in the dishwasher.
Ignition spark plug and flame safeguard sensor
GENTLYcleantheignitionsparkplugandflamesafeguard
sensorwithadampclothtoavoidlightingdifficulties.
Ensurethattheyaredrybeforeuse.
Injector
Ensuretheinjectorremainsfreeofanyforeignmaterial.
Ifnecessary,useathinpieceofwiretocleartheorifice.
